About the Environmental and Land Use Practice Group's Attorneys
Attorney Fred Eisenbud has a depth and breath of experience that provide him with a comprehensive understanding of environmental law. He has worked for decades in both the government and private sector and taught Environmental Law at Touro Law School as an adjunct professor. A past member of the Board of Directors of the Suffolk County Bar Association, he has served as co-chair of The Suffolk County Bar Association's Environmental Law Committee multiple times, is a Director of the Hauppauge Industrial Association (HIA-LI) and served for more than ten years as co-chair of HIA-LI's Environmental Committee. He lectures frequently to County and State Bar Associations on a wide variety of environmental law and practice issues.
An experienced litigator, Joseph K. Poe represents clients in environmental matters, complex commercial litigation, and insurance coverage litigation in state and federal court. Joe represents clients in environmental matters including civil cost recovery litigation, administrative violations, and municipal disputes. Drawing on his coverage experience, he has achieved favorable settlements in disputes concerning coverage of Superfund sites in Indiana and Ohio. His diverse experience also includes a variety of commercial litigation and insurance coverage matters, and he is also experienced in resolving environmental matters through alternative dispute resolution. Joe is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Hofstra University School of Law.
